Beijing Zoo

December 2010
A brown bear at the Beijing zoo. It was so upsetting to watch. The bear would beg with it's paws and people would throw in scraps of food and water bottle caps. The area it was caged in was completely horrible. It was one big, cement prison.

Temple Ceiling

October 2010
The ceiling of one of the temples in the Temple of Heaven area. I loved how colourful and ornate it all was. When looking at Chinese temples, I always make sure to glance at the ceiling. Most of the time they are like this.
