The roof of yurt 806, the one we stayed in somewhere in the Inner Mongolia grasslands. It was surprisingly big inside, but unsurprisingly, freezing at night. I slept in two shirts, a sweater, my winter jacket, my sweatpants, winter socks, gloves, a winter hat, and some earmuffs. It was still pretty cold! I can't even imagine living there in the winter.
