Dragon Dance

A dragon dance during the 60th Anniversary celebration of foreign students studying at Peking University. They had this crazy performance, it was even aired on local television here. Study abroad students from all local universities came to watch.

Lobby Light

The hotel we stayed at in Luoyan had this crazy light in the lobby. It was really impressive and though it deserved a photo.

Water Cubes

The Water Cube in Beijing. It turns out there was a design competition for the structure and this was the winner. Inside they had a sample of the outside material, it kind of felt like a plastic water bottle. It was incredibly thin! All together the materials were less then .75cm thick.

The Bird's Nest

The Bird's Nest used for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The structure of the stadium was just incredible. When we were there it was being used as a Segway driving school.

Incense

Incense at Shaolin Temple. There were tons of temples within the area, each with it's own place for praying  and offering incense.
