On our last day in Laos, Katie and I biked around Luang Prabang looking at all the temples. We found this beautiful statue around the Wat Xieng Thong temple.

Rice Pots

Rice used to make rice wine. It's kept in these pots for several weeks to dry it out.

Mekong River Taxi

We took this boat across the Mekong River to visit the Pak Ou caves. This boatman wasn't very camera friendly, but he looked like such a character with his pink shirt that I couldn't help but sneak a shot! He reminds me of an Asian version of my sailing coach. Also fun fact about Laos: the taxi's (including boat one's) wait for you while you do your various activities.

Elephant Eye

This is the elephant Ang that we rode and swam with. Their eyes are just amazing, they seem to hold so much wisdom.

Village Woman

While trekking to a waterfall, Katie, our tourguide, and I passed this local woman. She was walking back to the Lao mu village for lunch. A Lao mu village consists of mountain dwellers. In Laos they take a two or three hour break for lunch before heading back to work.

Monk Walk

A monk walking down from That Phu Si, a temple on top of a hill in Luang Prabang. I kept getting really nervous taking photos of people, I didn't know if they would be offended. This monk seemed okay with it though.

Hungry Hungry Panda

A panda at Ocean Park eating, of course. They were all so adorable and cuddly looking. This one's name was AnAn I believe. Apparently my chinese name, Lili, is a panda name also because it repeats at word twice.

Tad Mak Mo Gate

The gate surrounding the first temple we visited in Laos. There were hundreds and hundreds of temples there. It would be impossible to visit them all, espescially because they are all so gorgeous and ornate.

This beautiful fish was at the Fish Market in Hong Kong. Each one of them had it's own little rectangular area to swim in.

Boy and Fish

In one of the fish stores in the market this little boy was staring at all the different fish. He looked so cute with his backpack and crocs and he was completely in awe of the fish.

Goldfish Market

Near the bird market is the goldfish market. They sell thousands of fish in these little plastic bags. The number of goldfish varieties is crazy! There is this hideous one with basically balloon cheeks, and another one with a bunch of bumps on it's head.

Bird Market

The bird market in Kowloon, Hong Kong just off of Prince Edward Station stop. There were thousands of these cages, each with a bird in it. My favourite part was when my friend Katie was looking around in a store not even realizing this massive parrot sitting right next to her!

Water spraying off the side of a speedboat. I love how you can manipulate water in Lightroom to make it so clear. Having it frozen in time is a very unusual view of how we would usually see this.
