Playing around in the studio with some of my favourite jump shots. I was trying to get some fun, high contrast, B+W photos that kind of appeared to be 'behind-the-scenes' of a photo shoot.
Eliza sitting by the curtain. This is a 'direct positive,' almost giving the image a painting look. (If you couldn't tell I'm practicing on all my shots from this day, so you may see a few of these for a while...).
So later in the day Katie came in and of course I took photos of her. I developed this one with cool tone. These are the kinds of photographs I used to do much more of in high school so it's really nice going back to them.
A portrait of Eliza that I took at the studio I'm interning at. I used it to practice my Lightroom skills and am obsessed with the different developing techniques. I used B+W high contrast for this one. It's a little over the top but I like it.
There were so so many people at the pre-prom held by our family friends the BC's. This photo in no way does it justice, since it eliminates the whole house full of parents and relatives swarming the balcony. I kind of liked the Antique development on this photo.
A duck by the water in front of the Lincoln Memorial (I can't recall the name of it, and more often like to think of it as the pond from Forrest Gump).
Another symphony picture. Marco and I sat right behind the orchestra which was awesome! You got to see things you usually don't have the chance to see, as in the conductors very strange facial expressions.
